About Ancillary Data
Ancillary data defines the foundation for the schedule such as Sign-up Periods, Divisions, Garages, Services/Service Groups and your Lines/Line Groups. Ancillary data is information that tells FX what specific conditions and information are applicable for your transit site.
About Lines and Line Groups
Lines also called routes are fixed courses from an origin (node, stop, or timing point) to a destination (which also be a node, stop, or timing point).
Creating Through Lines
Through lines are used for reporting purposes only.
Setting the Changeover Node in Route Definition
After creating a through line, establish the changeover node in the Route Definition screen to indicate where the newly created single through line breaks into its original constituent lines.

After creating a through line, establish the changeover node in the Route Definition screen to indicate where the newly created single through line breaks into its original constituent lines.

Click Task > Route Definition. The Route Definition screen appears.
Press F3 to open the Set Mode dialog.
Select the single new through line you want to work with from the Line list and click OK. Your context is set.
On the Nodes tab, select the node at which the changeover of lines occurs.
Click Edit:

The Edit dialog opens.
In the Label field, type an "X".
Click Apply.
Click Close.

The X appears in the Label field on the Nodes tab; the changeover node for your through line is established.

Note: The node may have more than one label applied to it. In such cases, add the X to the field; you do not need to overwrite already exisiting information.
