PLAN has two components:
- PLAN Ridership Analysis enables transit agencies to meet government report requirements on passenger miles and route productivity in accordance with regulations laid out by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) through methods prescribed by the National Transit Database (NTD).
- PLAN Spatial Analysis has seamless access to all spatial (map) and non-spatial data created and used by the rest of the software system. APC Gateway is a configurable integration service that performs data exchange between Trapeze PLAN and third party Automated Passenger Count (APC) and fare count systems.

The TSDE (Trapeze Standard Data Exchange) is an all-encompassing application that is designed to incorporate all currently existing Trapeze import and export data tools into a single application that can be configured.
The Export to GTFS tool is used to export your transit agency’s schedule data from the Trapeze database into text files to the Google Transit™ trip planning service.

Trapeze MapEdit is used to view and edit Trapeze4 maps.
Using Trapeze MapMaker, you can load based map data from a variety of Geographic Information System (GIS) formats into the Trapeze database. You can then build additional data that enables Trapeze4 applications such as PASS, INFO-Agent, FX, and FLEX to quickly access spatial data.
