Test 3: Sending Messages Now

The purpose of this test case is to demonstrate that notifications can be sent immediately after they have been created.

  1. In the Create New Messages screen, after completing the required fields, click Next.
    The Review Message window appears.
  2. Review the message.
  3. Click Send Now.
    The Send Now dialog opens.
  4. Click Confirm to send the message immediately.
    The View Message dialog opens with the Sent tab open by default. A statement on the top section of the tab indicates that the message has been successfully scheduled to be sent shortly. The message is added to the list with the Status field showing Pending.
  5. Press F5 to refresh the screen.
    The Status field of the selected message shows Processing. Then, after all the calls have been made to the target customers, the Status field shows Completed.
  6. Check if the message has been received on demo user account on mobile phone.
    Note: The QA team has set up some demo user accounts to be used when checking if the messages are received successfully.
