Request Analysis

The system properties on the Request Analysis tab are:

Built Itineraries: This option defines the Itinerary Wizard Invoked log event when set to Detailed. If On, when the user chooses not to save the itinerary that was completed, the itinerary is still saved and stamped with its Itinerary ID. However, this itinerary is not flagged as favorite and, therefore, is not considered by the itinerary generation algorithm in the future.

Itinerary Request Details: Controls the logging of itinerary request.
  • Off: Logging is not enabled.
  • Failures Only: Logs only problem requests and enables you to determine whether they are caused by flaws in the data or schedule.
  • All: Logs all requests and enables analysis of popular destinations within the system.

Itinerary Details: Determines whether or not generated itineraries are stored in the Itineraries table. Options: Off, Chosen Only, All Suggested

Next Bus Info Requested: If selected, Next Bus Info Invoked events are logged and additional information is stored in the CtmRequests table.

Parameters: If selected, a formatted string containing the parameters used for the particular search is stored into the CtmRequests record when using the Itinerary Request Details option.
