Navigation Pane

The navigation pane on the left side of the page consists of vertical tabs that allow you to quickly navigate available content.

Table 1. Common Navigation Pane Items
Item Description
Three horizontal lines. Hides the navigation pane so that only icons are shown, or expands the pane so that icons and names are shown.
House icon and the word Home. Shows the Home canvas.
Star icon and the word Favorites. Lists content previously marked as Favorite.
Clock icon and the word Recent. Lists recently viewed content.
Plus icon and the word Create. Allows you to design a new report.
Cylinder icon and the word Datasets. Lists datasets you can access to create reports.
Three squares and the word Apps. Lists apps you can access.
Two outlines of people and the words Shared with me. Lists content shared by colleagues.
Three rectangles and the word Workspaces. Lists workspaces you can access.
A generic head and shoulders icon and the words My workspace. Lists the personal dashboards and reports you have created. For consumers, this area is typically empty.
