ViewPoint Content Types

Content refers to reports, dashboards, and apps created by power users and shared with consumers.

Reports

Reports are collections of visuals (for example, graphs, charts, and tables) that allow for many different views into a single data source and for filtering of available data. Reports can also contain multiple pages.

Dashboards

Dashboards are collections pinned visuals (called tiles) from different reports that, shown together, tell a compelling story. Dashboards are limited to one page, and provide focus by containing only the most important elements of the story.

Apps

Apps are collections of reports, dashboards, and links shared with consumers. Apps enable consumers to perform daily tasks using a finalized version of available content.
