Processing Cancellations at the Door

When a client cancels at the door, the driver sends the MDT center a CD message type.

Before you begin

MDT Center must be open.

Procedure

  1. Highlight the record.
  2. Click Cancel At Door:

    The Set Time dialog box appears.
  3. In the Estimated field, change the estimated time of the event as needed. If the estimated time displayed in the field is incorrect, click the Estimated button for the estimated time.
    The time of the event is displayed in the Actual field.
  4. To place the current time in the field, click Current or type another time as needed.
  5. Optional: If your site has created supplementary data pertaining to cancel at door activities, click the Edit SupData button to record the information. If there was fare to be collected, replace the value with a 0 to indicate that no fare was collected.
  6. (If applicable) From the Payment Type list, select the appropriate payment method. (This field is only displayed if you are using Trapeze mobile equipment. Payment types are created as ancillary data.)
  7. Click OK.
    Selecting the Perform Previous check box is not recommended since this causes the real times on the driver’s manifest to be replaced with the estimated times.
