Editing Booking Address Information
Address information must be updated if you create a booking involving a client address or common location that has changed but has not been updated in Client Registration or Locations.
Before you begin
About this task
For example, if Mrs. Jones calls to book a trip starting from her home but says her home address has changed since her last booking, her client record can be updated with the new information directly from Trip Booking.
Procedure
- Create a booking for the client.

On the Origin or Destination tab, do one of the following:
To Do this Change a client address Select Client and in the field to the right, type the appropriate client address type. For example, CH. Change a common location Select Location and in the field to the right, type the name of the location. For example, High Park. - Optional: Geocode the updated address.

Click the Save button:

Warnings or error messages about other booking information may appear. For example, if the Origin or Destination location change, a The PU/DO address has changed, this may change the activities, continue? message will appear. This notifies that the change in address may change the trip’s activities.A Do you want to update the master address for DESTINATION with the new geostatus values? message appears.

Do one of the following:
To Do this Update the address in the master file with the new address. Click Yes. The master file is found in if updating a client address and in if updating a common location.
Save the booking with the new address and leave the master file address as is. Click No. The previous address continues to be used for future bookings.
