Filtering Events Using Queries

In addition to the criteria defined in the search filters, you can create your own query when searching for events.

About this task

Once you have saved one or more queries, you can use them in future sessions by selecting the BYOQ check box and then selecting the query. Queries are saved in a *.XML file.

To determine the storage location for extra queries that are created in this procedure, click Tools > System Properties. On Profile tab, click PASS Booking Client > Def. Folder for Extra Query. Review the location for this folder and change it if necessary.

Remember to clear the BYOQ check box on the Options tab if you want to begin a new search in Trip Administration without using the query.

Procedure

  2. In the View All Events frame, next to BYOQ (Build Your Own Query), click the ellipsis button (…).
