Using Dispatch to Automatically Send Incidents to MDTs

Instead of manually sending incidents by MDT, you can save a lot of time and work by activating the Autosend feature.

Procedure

  1. Click Tools > System Properties.
  2. Click the Profile tab.
  3. Click MDT Server > Autosend.
    The Autosend group of properties determines, among other things, the time at which you want the MDT server to send out trips (for example, 12:00) before the driver arrives at the vehicle. This process is known as auto-logging.

What to do next

For an MDT to be autologged in the morning, you first need to go to Task > Vehicles and find the vehicles equipped with MDTs. For each vehicle, click the Details tab, and select the MDT Autologin check box. This activity tells the MDT Server to autolog this particular vehicle.
