Rapid Response Notification Context Properties

Notification context properties are used to define the available contact device types that the IVR system can use, and how messages are routed through the TRR system.

These context properties are found under Rapid Response > Notifications.

Property Description
Default IVR Greeting Message Default IVR greeting message.

Default is Hello, this is an emergency.

Contact Type

Defines the contact type that will be used to retrieve the phone numbers or other information in order to execute the call.

Usually, CH (Client Home) is selected. In Trapeze4, all contact information is connected with address types.

Use Phone From Address

If selected, the system will call the phone number specified in the General tab of the client record (in the Trapeze4 Workstation, under Task > Clients) for the contact type defined in Rapid Response > Notifications > Contact Type.

Otherwise, the system will call the phone number specified in the Contact Info tab for the contact type defined in Rapid Response > Notifications > Contact Type.

MDT Canned Message Ids A comma-delimited string of ID numbers representing the canned messages that can be used in TRR to send messages to the driver through the MDT server. These messages are defined in the Config screen.
  • In the Runs list, right-click and click Send Message to open a dialog box from which to send a canned or custom message.
  • In the Canned list, the message IDs are enumerated in the context property.

These context properties define the connection to the TRR service shell.

They are used by the IVR script to call back the TRR system to get extra data for the notification, or to apply the client response.

Contact Device Type > IVR

Contact Device Type > SMS

Contact Device Type > Email

These context properties define the device types that will be used to identify the context strings for different types of notification.
Message Type > Find Client Position
Defines all channels that can be used to find a client position. The context is a comma-delimited string and can contain any combination from these types:
Voice
Initiate a voice call to the client.
Email
Send an email to the client.
SMS
Send a text message to client.
Server > Host Address

Server > IP Port

Server > User Name

Server > Password

These context properties are used to set up the connection for the IVR service shell.

This connection will be used by the TRR system to call the IVR system to add a new missive in the Notification Waiting Area.
