Editing Grid Layouts for Trips

Users can edit the grid layout in the Trips pane to show columns in their preferred order.

Before you begin

Trip Broker must be open to the main Trip Broker screen.

About this task

Column headings and content can also be updated to change their appearance within Trip Broker.

Procedure

  1. Right-click in the grid and click Layout.
  2. In the Field Layout for list, select the UI Group for which to alter the column layout.
  3. Do one or more of the following:
    • Drag columns to be shown into the Assigned list.
    • Drag columns to be hidden into the Unassigned list.
    • Drag columns in the Assigned list and drop them into the order in which they should be shown in the grid.

      Columns will be shown from left-to-right based on the defined top-to-bottom order.

  4. Optional: Update the look of column headings:
    1. In the Accepted list, click a column name.
    2. Click the Properties button:
      Three bulleted lines.
    3. On the General tab, define the Caption (the column name) and the Description (the column tooltip).
    4. On the Caption tab, define the look of the column heading.
      You can set the Font, Font Size, additional formatting (bold, italic, or underline), justification, borders, column width, text color, and background color.
  5. Optional: Update the look of column content:
    1. In the Accepted list, click a column name.
    2. Click the Properties button:
      Three bulleted lines.
    3. On the Display tab, define the look of the column content.
      You can set the Font, Font Size, additional formatting (bold, italic, or underline), justification, borders, column width, text color, and background color.
  6. Click OK.
