Grid Options

The following table describes the options that are found in the lower left section of the Customize dialog.

Option Description
Move Up Moves the selected header (such as Last Name) up the list. The order in which headers appear in this list determines the order in which they appear on your screen.
Move Dn Moves the selected header down the list. The order in which headers appear in this list determines the order in which they appear on your screen.
Style Opens the Field Style dialog where you can change the appearance of the selected header using the bold, italics, underline, and color options.
Check/Check All

Enables you to select which headers/fields on the list appear in your work grid. When a header is selected, it appears in the grid. To check one at a time, highlight the item and then click Check. You can also select the checkbox itself to mark the header.

To select all items within the Fields frame quickly, click Check All.

Clear/Clear All Enables you to deselect the items that you do not want to appear in the grid, either one at a time (Clear) or all at once (Clear All).
Background Controls the background color of the grid headers. All headers become uniform; you cannot choose a background fill for only a single header.
Restore Defaults Restores the original settings of the grid layout.
