Roster Costing Constants
You can change the values of the costing constants if necessary.
The following table shows some commonly used costing constants:
| Costing Constants | Description |
|---|---|
| Desired work time | Example of a target average. |
| Desired rate | Used as a weighting (use either 0 or 1). |
| Overtime after | Example of a regular work week. |
| Overtime rate | Time and one half paid after regular work (Type 1.00 if you do not pay this premium.) |
| Makeup after (Pad) | Makeup/pad up to overtime after (Type 0h00 if you do not makeup weekly work.) |
| Minimum work time | Minimum time allowed for work |
| Maximum work time | Maximum time allowed for work |
| Overnight rest | Minimum legal break between work days. (This is an important item at most transit sites.) |
Note: As in Runcutting, you are not able to type values that are not within the
range of your Minimum and Maximum Values set in your custom Roster costing
routine. If you have to apply values outside of the minimum and maximum values
set in your costing routine because of policy or union agreement changes,
contact your Trapeze representative in order to have your Roster costing routine
modified.
