Nodes and Stops

The Copy tab in the Edit dialog box allows you to copy nodes and stops.

Table 1. Copy Tab
Option Description
Copy Nodes - The following options are activated if this option is selected:
Nodes Only presents the list of nodes in the From direction.
Include Stops If selected, the list includes stops.
Reverse Copies the nodes of the From direction in reverse order.
Create New Stops If your new direction requires new stops, then you must select this check box. This ensures that the system creates StopIds for the new stops. The Stop Abbr, Long Stop name and Node Abbr (where applicable) are exactly the same as those of the From direction but with new system generated StopIds.

If you copy nodes or stops from one direction to another without selecting Create New Stops, the StopIds assigned to the new nodes and stops are going to be the same as those of the original direction. This means that all existing geocodes (longitudes/latitudes) are going to be attached as well.

Copy Line Trace - The following options are activated if this option is selected:
From Signup Shows the list of sign-up periods.
From Line Shows the list of lines of the selected sign-up period.
