Viewing Client Eligibility Rules

Clients can be defined as eligible for service if the trip being created meets one or more specifically defined eligibility conditions.

Before you begin

Trip Booking must be open.

About this task

Certain rules can be defined for a client under certain eligibility conditions. When an eligibility condition is in effect, the rules that apply to it determine the selections in Trip Booking.

If travel rules based on eligibility conditions have been set up for clients, Trapeze recommends reviewing the client's eligibility conditions before scheduling any trips.

Procedure

  1. In the Client field, search for the client’s name.
  2. Click the Client Eligibility Rules button:
Piece of paper with a pin in it.
The Client Eligibility Rules dialog box shows all eligibility conditions assigned to the client and lists all travel conditions assigned to the client.

Each set of rules fall under a specific eligibility condition and is separated by a dotted (…) line.

The Comments field in the Client Eligibility Info dialog box is the same comment shown in the Elig. comm field in the Detail tab if the property in Tools > System Properties, on the Profile tab, under PASS Booking Client > Enforce Client Eligibility Rules is set to Yes. Otherwise, the Elig. comm field is not shown on the Detail tab.
In Trip Booking, the Detail tab is visible with the Elig com field circled in red, and the Client Eligibility Rules dialog box is visible with the Comments field circled in red. Comments are the same in both fields.
This text is entered in Client Registration (Task > Clients), on the Eligibility tab, in the Comment field of the selected eligibility rule.
Client Registration is open to the Eligibility tab and the Comments column is circled in red.
