Putting a Run in Planning Mode in Run Itinerary View
You can put a run in Planning Mode in Runs view or the Run Itinerary view.

Procedure

Do one of the following:
- To put multiple runs into Planning Mode at once, select the runs in Runs view.
- To plan an itinerary by dragging and dropping events on a run, select the run in Runs view or Run Itinerary view.

Right-click on the run and click Planning Mode.
If the Planning Mode command is not available for the selected run, either Planning Mode is not enabled for the schedule type, or you do not belong to a security group that can use Planning Mode. Contact a system administrator.A message appears that says, All Schedule Times will be lost. Continue?

Click Yes.
To verify that you are in Planning Mode, confirm that Planning Mode has a check mark beside it when right-clicking on the screen. Depending on your system setup, the run might display in a different color to indicate that it is in Planning Mode. Also, the schedule times should be removed from pick-up events.

Move, add, or remove run events as appropriate by dragging and dropping them.
Dragging and dropping a trip onto the run removes the trip’s schedule time restrictions.
- Optional:
Type schedule early or late times for trips.
The estimated times for the rest of the itinerary update to accommodate your changes. These times are retained after the run is removed from Planning Mode.
If you remove trips or move them to other runs afterward, the times that have been manually typed are not retained.

Right-click and click Planning Mode.
Planning Mode is exited.
