Batch Scheduling Return Trips

Multiple return trips can be scheduled at one time.

Before you begin

Open the Manage Incidents screen.

Procedure

  1. Click the Evacuation step.
  2. On the Return Trips tab, select the trips to be scheduled.
  3. Click the Batching tab.
  4. Provide the following information as needed:
    Preferred Runs
    Select all or specific runs on which to schedule runs:
    1. Click the ellipsis button [...] beside the text field. The Runs Selections dialog box appears.
    2. (Optional) In the upper half of the dialog box, search for the runs by typing the Run Id and Run Name, and then clicking Search.
    3. In the Search Results pane, click the runs to use, and then click > to add them to the Selected pane. Alternatively, press Ctrl + A to select all runs, and then click < to remove unwanted runs.
    4. Click OK.
    Schedule Booking with No Request Time
    Select whether to schedule bookings that do not have a requested pick-up or drop-off time.
    Violation Set
    Click a violation set in the list.
    Parameter Set
    Click a parameter set in the list.
    Use Group Optimizer
    Select whether to use the group optimizer to ensure that trips are scheduled efficiently by scheduling nearby clients with similar trip times together.
    Schedule the Unscheduled Bookings
    Select whether to schedule unscheduled bookings.
  5. Click the Start Batch button to begin scheduling the trips:
    Calendar with red, white, and green squares.
  6. In the Evacuation Trips tab, click the Refresh button to update the list:

    The clients' statuses in the Schedule Status column is changed from U (unscheduled) to S (scheduled).
