Sending Messages to Drivers

Either a canned message or a free-form text message can be sent to drivers.

Before you begin

Open the Manage Incidents screen.

Procedure

  1. Click the Trip Management step.
  2. In the Runs pane, click Affected Runs.
  3. In the Runs grid, right-click the row of a run for which to send a message to the driver.
  4. Right-click the row, and then click Send Message.
    The Send Text Message dialog box appears.
  5. In the Send Text Message dialog box, click one of the following options:
    Canned Message
    Click a canned message in the list.
    Custom Message
    Type the free-text message in the text box.
  6. Click Send.
