Nodes Edit Tab Features

The following table explains the features on the Edit tab in the Edit dialog box.

Option Description

As Stop Abbr

If selected, the system copies the Stop abbreviation as the Node abbreviation.
Repeat

Appears selected by default when you click Add New, Add Existing Stop, or Add Existing Node to add a series of nodes and stops without closing the Edit dialog box. Typically, some of the data for the new nodes and stops is the same.

LCR Left, Center, Right; used in geocoding.
Node If selected, the location you are adding is a node.

In Service

(Appears in both the Node and Stop frames) If selected, the node or stop is set to be in use.
Stop

If selected together with the Node check box, the node you are adding is located at a stop. If selected by itself, the location you are adding is only a stop.

Id Autogenerated ID.
Label The relief labels, which appear in the Label field, used in FX are:
  • R (Relief)

  • U (Unattended Relief)

  • B (Break) Reliefs for operator, for example, meal breaks

  • P (Pull-out/Pull In): Used only in conjunction with Created Pull Out and Pull In.

  • M (Maximum Load Point): The location along a route where the passenger load is at its greatest. (Not a relief label but is included in the list.)

    To apply these relief labels, select the appropriate settings in Properties.

    A node can have multilabels. For example, if a node is designated a “Created Pull-out/Pull-In” and is also identified as a Maximum Load Point, type “PM”. Only nodes can be used as relief points. Reliefs are assigned in Route Definition but applied in Runcutting.
    Note: The field can only contain six characters.
Address Name of the location of the node. Typically, it shows the name of the street/intersection, city, and, state/province. and may include a specific number.
