Assigning Run Times Manually

Assign run times manually if you use clock headways (for example, a trip every 60 minutes such as 5:00, 6:00, 7:00), which have one pattern, one run time interval and one set of run times.

Question marks that appear on the Run Times tab after you have set your run time intervals indicate that the run times have not yet been assigned or they are in error. If one or more question marks appear in a row, the color of all the values in the row changes to red. The color changes back to black after all the run times have been created or the error has been corrected.
  1. On the Run Times tab, click the first question mark (?) of the pattern to which you want to assign run times.
  2. Type the run time of the node.
  3. Move to the next node and type the appropriate run time applicable to the pattern.
  4. Optional: To type the run times of other patterns that need to be completed, repeat steps 1 to 3.

On the Run Times tab, the first node of the pattern is marked with a hyphen (-) which represents 0 because it marks the starting point of the trip. The total running time for the selected pattern appears in the Total column. The numbers in this column change dynamically as you type or change the information from node to node.
