About OPS HST Table Purging
The OPS HST Table Purging screen lets you create, update, and run jobs to purge your history tables as needed.
You can purge selected history tables limiting the records to a certain time frame. For example, you could purge daily events history (in the OPSDailyEvent_HST table) and preserve only the most recent 90 days of records. This purge uses the system date. If you only had 10 days of records that were all recorded more than 90 days ago, running the purge would leave the history table blank.
Your agency can decide how long to keep audit history for different records. Then it can set up a purging schedule to keep your database from growing too large.
