Adding Vehicle Characteristics
Add or change vehicle characteristics information using the OPS Vehicle Profile - Characteristics screen.
- Open the OPS Vehicle Profile screen and set the Context (F3).
- Select the vehicle to update, then select Characteristics.

Do one of the following:
- To update an existing characteristics record, select the record in the list view and update fields in the detail view.
- To create a new characteristics record, right-click in the detail view and select Add New Record.
- To create a characteristics based on an existing record: select a record
in the list view, then click in the detail view and select Clone
Record:
- Select the Characteristic Id.

If required, select the Dormancy Flag.
This makes the characteristic dormant and no longer applicable.
- Optional:
Define the applicable date range in the From Date and
To Date fields.
Create an open-ended record by only entering a From Date.
- Optional: Enter any Comments.
