Monitoring Agent Tab Fields

In OPS Sign-In Terminal Parameters, the ancillary data on the Monitoring Agent Parameters tab specifies when warnings or absences are generated.

Fields Description
Full Day Absence Type Select the type of absence to use when creating a full day absence in conjunction with the OPS > SIT > Monitor > Full Day Absence > Schedule Parameters properties.
Log Warning If Not Signed-In Specifies the number of minutes before the scheduled sign on time when a warning is logged if an employee hasn't yet signed in. A value of zero or greater is required.
Open Work Absence Time Specifies the absence to create when opening work:
  • Create an absence using the Open Work Threshold value
  • Create an absence for the time specified by Open Work Action
Open Work Absence Type Option
Specifies the absence type for an absence generated by the following scenario:
  • The Open Work If Late field is selected.
  • An employee doesn't sign in within the amount of time specified by the Open Work Threshold field after the scheduled sign on time.

The From Time of the generated absence is the sign on time of the work. The To Time of the generated absence is the sign on time plus the amount of time specified by the Open Work Threshold parameter.

Note:
If no absence type is specified, the system doesn't generate absences when employees sign in late.
Open Work Action Specifies the action taken when work is opened:
  • Current piece only
  • Current piece and all subsequent work until the next Sign-In
  • Current piece and all subsequent work for the day
Open Work If Late If selected, work is opened and an absence is generated if an employee doesn't sign in within the amount of time specified by the Open Work Threshold field after the scheduled sign on time. Work is opened from the employee’s current piece of work to the next piece of work that requires sign in.
Open Work Threshold Specifies the number of seconds after the scheduled sign in time after which work is opened and a late absence is generated if the Open Work If Late parameter is selected and an employee hasn't yet signed in. A value of zero (0) or greater is required.
