Creating Vehicle (Block) Remarks
Vehicle remarks are applied to all the trips of a selected block of the specific line.
When you create a Vehicle (Block) remark, the Remarks icon (exclamation mark) appears in the R (Remarks) column of the headway sheet beside the run specified. For example, if you type a remark for line 236, block 10, the Remarks icon appears next to all the block 10 trips of the 236 line. So, even if the service is only affected from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., all of the block 10 trips throughout the day display the Remarks icon. That is why it is important to include times in the text of a vehicle remark.
When a Vehicle remark is created, the remark appears on that block on all of the interlined routes. For example, if you type a remark for line 236 block 10, the remark notification icon appears on all of the block 10 trips of the 232 line as well. Therefore, it is not necessary to break down cancellations as the system recognizes all of the interlining for you.
