Inserting Bus Stops on Flex Runs

In Schedule Editor, you can insert bus stops on Flex runs, which enables FLEX users with no fixed route divisions to set up Flex routes.

Before you begin

Schedule Editor must be open.

About this task

Bus stops can be inserted onto Flex runs. When you insert a bus stop on a Flex run, you can choose whether or not to specify a scheduled time for the stop. If you do not specify a time, the stop is not considered a timing point and the vehicle can leave the stop at any time. The estimated stop departure time is calculated using the travel time from the previous event to the bus stop. If you specify a time, the run must leave the bus stop at the scheduled time or an FX violation occurs. If the scheduled time is impossible based on the travel time required from the previous event to the bus stop, an FX violation appears immediately.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Flex run itinerary where you want to insert a bus stop.
  2. Click Task > Bus Stops.
