Adding a Bank Identifier Code Field Using Supplementary Data

Para > Pricing > Bank Identifier Codes. Bank Identifier Codes (BICs) can be defined using ancillary data and applied using supplementary data.

Before you begin

Bank Identifier Code ancillary data must be created by a system administrator.

About this task

After creating a list of relevant Bank Identifier Codes in ancillary data, you can create a supplementary data field that allows users to add BIC information to different record types.

Procedure

1. Click Tools > Supp. Data Definition.
2. Click Add.
3. Select a Screen Name where the supplementary data field will appear.
   For example, Providers.
4. Select a UserString option (for example, UserString1).
5. Click Add.
6. Type a Label for the field.
7. Select the Sub Type as COMBOBOX.
8. In ExtInfo, type select * from BICTypes.
9. Click Advanced.
10. Select Write.
11. Click Save.

What to do next

Check the screen where the supplementary data was added and confirm that the defined field name and value are accessible.
