Marking an Event As Arrived in Schedule Editor

When you mark an event as arrived you record the time at which the vehicle arrives at the pick-up or drop-off before the client has boarded or alighted from the vehicle.

Before you begin

Schedule Editor must be open to Run Itinerary view.

About this task

Before you use this feature, click Tools > System Properties, and on the Profile tab, click PASS Scheduling > Arrive Should Set and review the setting. (This property defines how times are applied when a trip is marked as Arrived in Schedule Editor.) If you cannot access system properties, a system administrator can advise you on the current setting.
ActualArriveTime
The actual arrival (Act Arr) column is updated with the defined Actual time.
EstTime
The estimated (Est) column is updated with the defined Actual time.
Both
The Act Arr column and the Est column are updated with the defined Actual time.
Default
For pick-ups, the Act Arr and Est columns are updated and for drop-offs only the Act Arr column is updated.

Procedure

  1. Locate the event to be marked.
  2. Click the Mark as Arrived button:
Small I and large A over three columns of lines.
The Set Time dialog box appears.
  3. In the Actual field, record the time at which the event was arrived.
  4. Optional: If needed, select the Perform Previous check box.
This option marks all unperformed events previous to the current event as performed.
  5. Click OK.
    The dialog box closes.

Results

An A appears in the Stat column to indicate that the event has been marked as arrived and the time specified in the Set Time dialog box appears in blue in the appropriate columns for this event. The system changes all estimated times following this event accordingly.
