Accounting for Client Whereabouts

Determining a client's location can ensure that he or she is not affected by the incident

Before you begin

Open the Manage Incidents screen.

Procedure

  1. On the Clients tab in the Client Management step, click the client to assign to a shelter.
    To select multiple clients, press Ctrl while clicking the client rows, or press Ctrl + A to select all clients.
  2. Right-click and then select one of the following options:
    OptionDescription
    Set Position:
    • Unknown
    • At Home
    • At Shelter
    • At Location

    Client's location is unknown

    Client is at home

    Client is at a shelter.

    In the Matches tab, define the client's specific location. In the Advanced tab, geocode the client's location.
    Send Notification Automatically contact the client using IVR to determine his or her location.
