Creating User Accounts
User accounts allow you to assign permissions directly to users and to assign users to groups.

Procedure

Click the New button:

Click New User.
The Add User pane shows a User Name field.

In the User Name field, type a login name for the user.
The login name is case-sensitive and cannot contain more than 50 alphanumeric characters.

Click Create.
Users and Security is opened to the General tab.
- Type the user’s First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Email Address, and a Description.
- Optional: To ignore the password policy for this user account, select the Ignore Password Policy check box.

Add a password to the new user account:

Click the Save button:

To delete a user account, in the Users and Groups pane, highlight
the account and click the Delete button:
