Setting Password Security

Password security specifies the requirements and restrictions for Service Infractions user passwords, such as the maximum password length and how often a user can reuse passwords.

Before you begin

Log on to the administrative tools port for Service Infractions.

About this task

The specifications made for password security become the site’s password policy, and the policy affects every Service Infractions user account. Password security settings set in context properties are applied across all Trapeze products.

Procedure

  1. Click Menu.
  2. Click Settings > Context Properties.
    Context Properties opens to the All tab.
  3. Navigate to Core > Security > Policy.
    The Policy context properties appear.
  4. Edit the policy context properties as needed.
  5. Click the Save button:
