About Copying Deadheads

When you use the Copy Deadheads feature, you can define the information you want to copy such as type of deadhead (Garage or Interline), comments, times, traces, and distance.

Copying allows you to copy the time and distance of one deadhead to another deadhead.

Copying enables you to clone existing information for a new deadhead pair without creating a duplicate record. It is a time-saving function if you have deadheads that are within the same vicinity. For example, within a bus station, some of the buses drop off their passengers at one end of the station and have to go around the block to enter their respective platforms at the other end. The deadheads related to these maneuvers usually have the same time and distance. Instead of adding them one at a time, use the Copy function.
