Pattern Options for 4-Day Rosters

The options for 4-day rosters in the Pattern column are different from those for 5-day rosters. Only the 7-7-6 Pattern option is shared by both types of rosters.

The following graphic shows the Pattern options when the 4 Day roster option is selected:

Option	Definition
5-7 Option	Combines one 5-day roster with one 1-day roster to form two regular rosters and one relief roster with all having consecutive Off days.
7-7-6 Option	Combines two 7-day rosters with one 6-day roster with all having consecutive Off days.
5-5-6 Option	Combines two 5-day rosters with one 6-day roster to form three regular rosters and one relief roster. Two rosters will have all consecutive Off days while two rosters will have two consecutive Off days and one non-consecutive Off days.
4 5’s Option	Takes four 5-day rosters to form four regular rosters and one relief roster. Two rosters will have all consecutive Off days while three rosters will have two consecutive Off days and one non-consecutive Off days.
2 6’s Option	Takes two 6-day rosters to form two regular rosters and one relief roster. Two rosters will have all consecutive Off days and one will have two consecutive Off days and one non-consecutive Off days.
4 7’s Option	Takes four 7-day rosters to form four regular rosters and three relief rosters. All rosters will have consecutive Off days
