About New Features
This document contains a list of new features included in 2021 releases of OPS v21 (v21.0, v21.1, and v21.2).
If you are currently running version 21, you may have seen some of these enhancements and features mentioned in your release notes. For a list of all enhancements and corrections made in v21 since the initial release of v21.0, see OPS v21 Release Notes.
Some of the features described are for separately licensed modules. To access these licensed modules, your transit agency must purchase the module. See your Trapeze representative for more information.
To help you understand the effort required in upgrading your system, certain items have graphic cues based on standard signage.
Indicates a feature that either changes existing functionality or adds significant new
functionality. If you plan on using this feature, you will need to plan your upgrade carefully,
conduct testing, and provide training for staff. Contact Trapeze for guidance before
proceeding.
Indicates moderate change. Already skilled staff may be able to adapt to the new or
enhanced functions by reading the technical documentation. While you should conduct some testing,
the changes are unlikely to cause significant problems. Contact Trapeze if you have any questions
or concerns.
Unmarked items can be implemented without concern. Trained staff should be able to understand any changes from the context or by reading the technical documentation.
