Creating User-Defined Styles

You can add or clone styles. You can also create Supplementary Data Definition (SDD) clones.

  1. In an SQL report, do one of the following:
    • Select Report > Settings
    • Select Settings: Settings
    • On the keyboard, press Ctrl and R.
    The Report Settings dialog appears.
  2. Select the Styles tab.

  3. To add a new style:
    1. Select Add.
    2. In the Enter name field, enter the name of the new style and select OK.

    3. Select the style options you want and then select OK.
      The style is now available in the Styles tab.
  4. To clone an existing style:
    Use this feature when the style you want to create is similar to an existing style.
    1. In the Report Settings dialog, on the Styles tab, select the style to clone.
    2. Select Clone.
    3. In the Enter name field, enter the name of the new style and select OK.
    4. Change the style options you want and select OK.
      The style is now available in the Styles tab.
  5. To clone a supplementary data definition style:
    Use this feature when the style you want is the same as or similar to a supplementary data definition style.
    1. In the Report Settings dialog, on the Styles tab, select SDD Clone.

    2. Select the Supplementary Field Style to clone.
      The Style Name field shows the selected field with an SDD prefix.
    3. Optional: Enter a new Style Name.
    4. Select OK.
    5. Change the style options you want and select OK.
      The style is now available in the Styles tab.
