Formatting Reports

You can specify formatting for each results grid in an SQL report.

  1. In a report, click in the results grid.
  2. Select Customize Grid Customize Grid and do one or more of the following:
    1. To change which fields are visible, select the fields to be included in the Fields list.
    2. To display grid lines, select Horizontal or Vertical.
    3. To change the style of the grid lines, select a value in the Style dropdown list.
    4. To change the color of the grid lines, select a value for the Color selector.
    5. To have alternating rows colored, select Zebra.
    6. To change the color of the alternating rows, select from the color selector to the right of the Zebra check box.
    7. To change the background color, select a value from the Background color selector.
    8. To return the grid to default settings, select Restore Defaults.
  3. Change the width of a column by dragging the line to the right of the column header to the left or right.
  4. To restore the width of a column to its default setting, double-click the line to the right of the column header.
  5. To change the width of columns to fit the date, select the column header and right-click Fit to Content.
  6. Select Save: Save
