Adding Vehicle Pictures

Add pictures to vehicle records as needed.

  1. In Properties, check the following properties:
    • OPS > Yard Management > Vehicle Profile > Picture Display In Vehicle Card. If selected, vehicle pictures show in the vehicle card. Otherwise, they show the OPS Vehicle Profile - Picture screen.
    • OPS > Yard Management > Vehicle Profile > Picture Format. Pictures must be saved in this format.
    • OPS > Yard Management > Vehicle Profile > Picture Directory. Pictures must be saved to this directory. File names must be updated to match the vehicle number. For example, if the vehicle number is 4152 and the format is JPG the name should be 4152.jpg.

      The default directory path is the path\HW\Apps\FixedRoute\Operations\VehiclePictures folder where path is the Trapeze OPS installation directory.

  2. Add any new vehicle pictures to the defined directory using the vehicle number and defined extension type.
  3. To set a default vehicle picture, add the picture to be used to the defined directory and name it Default.jpg.
    This picture is used for all vehicles that don't have an image file associated with their vehicle number.
  4. Open the OPS Vehicle Profile screen and set the Context (F3).
  5. The vehicle picture is shown either in the vehicle card or in the OPS Vehicle Profile - Picture screen.
    If there is no Picture option, then the image should appear on the vehicle card.
  6. If you can't see the newly uploaded image on the vehicle card, do the following:
    Typically, these steps are performed by a system administrator. Specific permissions are required.
    1. Right-click in the detail view and select Customize.
    2. Select the Vehicle Picture field and then select Apply.
    3. Select OK.
    4. Press F5 to refresh the screen.
  7. To change the vehicle image size, do the following:
    Typically, these steps are performed by a system administrator. Specific permissions are required.
    1. Right-click and select Design Mode.
      Design Mode is checked.
    2. Drag the picture frame to its preferred size.
    3. Rearrange the fields as needed.
    4. Right-click and select Design Mode to exit design mode.
      Design Mode is no longer checked.
    5. Press F5 to refresh the screen.
