Sign employees on and off work using the Daily Activity screen.
The system may prompt you to specify a time and reason.
You can only sign on employees if work has been assigned and if the dispatch day
isn't locked, or if you have permission to ignore the dispatch lock.
-
Open the Daily Activity screen and set the Context
(F3).
-
In the work pane, select a piece of work with an assigned employee.
-
To sign on the employee, do the following:

If no dialog appears, the system automatically signs on the employee
and records the actual time.
If the Undo Sign-On/Re-print Sign-On Receipt
dialog appears, the employee has already signed on for the work. You can
undo the sign-on or reprint the receipt. Undoing the sign-on removes the
Actual Sign On time from the record.
-
Select whether to set the actual sign-on time or actual sign-off time
to the current, scheduled, or other time, and choose a reason.

ancillary group is used to show options for sign-on and sign-off
reasons.
-
Select OK.
-
To sign off the employee, do the following:
-
Check the work pane for the Sign Off Req. column
to see if the employee needs to be signed off.
If you need to, you can use the Customize
option to show this column or contact a system administrator to do this
for you.

Req. columns in the work pane, the security permission must be granted.

If sign off is required and no dialog appears, the system
automatically signs on or signs off the employee and records the actual
time.
If the Undo Sign-Off/Re-print Sign-Off Receipt
dialog appears, the employee has already signed off for the work. You
can undo the sign-off or reprint the receipt. Undoing the sign off
removes the actual sign off (Act. SignOff) time
from the record.
-
Choose the time to use and select the Manual Sign-Off
Reason.
