Editing Messages in the Client Shell

View, update, and delete messages as needed.

You can only edit or delete messages that haven't been printed. You must be granted the OPS > Dispatch > Daily Activity > Employee Messages > Edit to edit messages and the OPS > Dispatch > Daily Activity > Employee Messages > Delete security permission to delete messages.
  1. In the Client Shell, open the Daily Activity screen and set the Context (F3).
  2. Select an employee and then Employee Messages: Employee Messages
    The Employee Messages dialog shows all the messages for the employee where the from and to date include the date set in the Context.
  3. To update the message, select the From Date, To Date, or Msg Text field and make any changes.
  4. To delete the message, select the message by clicking in the gray box to its left and press the Delete key or right-click and select Delete.
