About PASS-Web G3 and WebCare

PASS-Web G3 is the next generation of PASS-Web, which is a browser-based application that enables transit riders and service providers to view, request, and cancel demand response trips using a secure website without the support of a customer service agent. It works with scheduling data provided by Trapeze PASS.

Transit agency customers or their representatives are able to perform the following tasks:
  • Receive "Where's my ride?" alerts.
  • Book casual trips.
  • View and cancel their casual and recurring or subscription trips.
  • View their profile and update their personal information.
  • Change their password.
  • View announcements and general information from transit agency.
  • Provide feedback.
Note: It is assumed that the transit agency has acquired PASS and PASS-Web G3 in order to have WebCare installed.

Responsive

PASS-Web G3 has all of the PASS-Web features of the previous version (PASS-Web G2) and the "Where's my ride?" feature applied in a responsive web environment. This environment provides customers with web pages that are easy to read and use on all electronic devices where they are displayed. This means that the application is designed to accommodate the screen size and resolution of the devices in which they are displayed as well as automatically respond to the customers' needs and preferences.

Accessibility Guidelines Compliant

Trapeze aims to ensure that its web-based products comply with the World Wide Web Consortium Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 provided by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The guidelines are the leading set of strategies, guidelines, and resources on how to make web pages accessible. Likewise, we work with transit agencies in meeting government requirements set in various legislation such as the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).

Visually-impaired transit riders who use screen reading software such as JAWS are also able to perform tasks on the PASS-Web G3 screen.
