Editing Locations

When common locations change, you may want to update the address information in all trips that are affected. Use Address Maintenance to apply these changes to those trips.

  1. Click Task > Locations.
  2. Select a location.
  3. Edit the location as required.
    If a location is no longer used or in existence, select the Inactive check box so that the location can no longer be selected or searched for in the system or filtered out when searching for locations.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Click Locations > Address Maintenance.
    The Address Maintenance dialog appears, with a list of all trips that have this location as the pick-up or drop-off.
  6. Click Preselect Near by Addresses to filter the list of addresses in the Select Addresses to be Updated field.
    The addresses that are geographically close to the selected address are selected. You can manually change the selection by using CTRL+A to select or deselect addresses.
  7. In the Date field, type the date after which the selected addresses will be updated for trips. For example, type 01-01-16 if you want the addresses in trips after January 1st, 2016 to be updated.
  8. Click Apply to Selected.
  9. When prompted to confirm the update, click Yes.
