Using the Location Change Wizard
When common locations are edited, changes that would affect scheduling such as a new address should be reflected in trip bookings. You can update live and template schedules with the most recent location information using the Location Change Wizard.

In the Common Locations screen, click Location Change
Wizard:
The Location Change Wizard dialog box appears.

In the left frame, select fields that you want the wizard to check. If
Vehicle Type Exclusion is selected, current exclusions will be
added and existing exclusions will not be removed.
Alternatively, click Select All to select all fields. Click UnSelect All to clear all the check boxes.

To immediately update trip bookings with new location information, in the
Actions frame, select Update Bookings.
More options are shown in the window.

Select the appropriate options:
- Unschedule trips with violations that exceed the violation set - Click a violation set in the list. Scheduled trips that incur unacceptable violations due to the changes made will be unscheduled.

Change Subtype Abbreviation After Update - Click a subtype in the list. Use this option if, for example, you want to identify the changed bookings in the Schedule Editor screen.
- Default Eligible Funding Sources Only - Update the location records to use
- Cancel Trips if Provider or Funding Sources are no longer valid - Cancel a trip if the provider or funding source attached to the trip is no longer valid as a result of the changes made.
- Cancel Trips if LDate is outside of Eligible Period or the Client is suspended - Cancel all bookings that have a booking date that falls outside of the Eligible From>To date period or that falls within the Suspended From>To date period.
- Notify Trip Providers via Email - E-mail providers if location information has changed. You can use this option to notify providers of changes or another party in order to have them update the affected trips.
- Update Registered Client Addresses - Registered client addresses will be updated with the selected location information changes, and the related bookings will be included in the selection

(If you selected Update Bookings) In the Selections frame,
select the appropriate check boxes:
- Master Sub Bookings - Apply the changes to master subscription bookings.
- Weekday Schedules - Apply the changes to template trips. In the list, click Template.
- Date Base Schedules - Apply the changes to live schedules. In the list, click Live. Then, in the From and To fields, type the first and last dates for which the changes should be applied. By default, the From field shows tomorrow’s date and the To field shows the date of the last loaded schedule.
The changes will be put into effect for the bookings within this date range.

Click Next.
The Location Change Wizard compares the selected fields of the location record with all trips in the selected schedules and then lists the trips with differences. By default, all trips are selected.
- Optional: Clear all check boxes for trips you want to exclude from the update. You can also select the UnSelect All check box to exclude all trips.
- (If required,) Click Back to adjust the criteria (for example, select different change field or schedules) for updating bookings.

Click Update.
The Log pane at the bottom of the dialog displays the status of the update process, booking by booking.
