Scheduling Trips Using the Schedule Booking Wizard

The Schedule Booking Wizard is an automated scheduling process where the system searches for the best run solutions for an individual trip.

Before you begin

Schedule Editor must be open to Schedules view.

About this task

In the list of solutions generated, you can click the run in which to insert your trip. You can use the Schedule Booking Wizard to schedule or reschedule trips.

Procedure

  1. Select the correct schedule.
  2. Locate the trip to schedule or reschedule.
  3. Click the Display Trips button:
    Ts on blue paper.
    All unscheduled trips are shown.
  4. Optional: To reschedule a specific trip, locate the client’s itinerary or booking by using the Find dialog box (click the Find button or click Find > Find Client).
  5. Select the pick-up event for the trip.
  6. Click the Reschedule button:
    Three times: 1:07, 1:10, and 1:40.

Results

The Schedule Booking Wizard opens over Schedule Editor with the selected booking ready to be scheduled or rescheduled.
