Logging In to Schedule Administrator

Log in to create schedule types and load schedules.

Before you begin

Always activate Schedule Server before you open Schedule Administrator.

About this task

Logging in and out of Schedule Administrator follows the same procedure as logging in and out of the Trapeze4 Workstation.

Procedure

  1. Locate and double-click the SAdm41.exe file:
    A black clock with a red second hand.
    Typically, SAdm41.exe will be in the same location as Mmsw41.exe (that is, the Trapeze4 Workstation executable file).
    The Login dialog box appears.
  2. Type your user name and password in the in the Login and Password fields, respectively.
  3. Optional: To change the OBDC data source name:
    1. Click Config.
      The Configuration dialog box appears.
    2. In the DSN list, click the data source name.
    3. In the Profile list, click the appropriate profile.
      The data source name and profile point to the PASS configuration database and are created by a system administrator or Trapeze Customer Care representative.
    4. Click OK.
  4. In the Login dialog box, click OK.
  5. If a message box states that you have typed an incorrect login name or password, click OK and re-enter your login name and password.
  6. If a message box states that your password has expired, do the following:
    1. Click OK.
    2. In the Change Password dialog box, type a new password in the New Password and Confirm Password fields.
    3. Click OK.
