Date Interval Rule Fields

Date interval rules are the specific time rules that apply to the defined date interval.

Note: Ancillary data for Date Intervals must be created before date interval rules can be created.
To add date interval rules, click File > Ancillary Data > General > Date Interval Summary, select an interval, and click Rules.
Note: Not all fields apply to every date interval rule type.

Field Description
Rule Type Date interval rule type.

Rules are defined to control when subscription trips are activated, when runs are activated, or when to do tasks should be completed.

Sequence Order of the recurrence on a monthly basis.
Monthly Seq Order of the recurrence on a daily basis.
Weekend Rule Applies to the Daily rule type. Select the weekend rule for this rule.
Week Template Applies to the Weekly rule type. Select the days of the week for this rule.
From Date First day from when the rule applies.
To Date Last day to when the rule applies.
Operation
Active
Event occurs on the From/To dates.
Suspended
Event does not occur on the From/To dates.
Comments (Optional) Any additional information about the rule.
Check Date (Optional) Date that should be checked for an event.

After specifying a date, click Check.

One of the following results is returned:
PASS
An event occurs on the specified date.
Failed
No event occurs on the specified date.
Match Criteria Applies to subscriptions. Match Criteria should be selected after all of the rules have been defined.
All match
The subscription booking is only activated on days when all active rules are in effect.
Some match
The subscription booking is activated on days when at least one of the active rules is in effect.

To use some match, at least one Active rule must exist and at least one existing Active rule must PASS. All Suspended rules (if any are defined) must FAIL. (Active and Suspended are defined under Operation.)
