About Entering Odometer Readings for Each Event

To enter odometer readings for each event (for example, pull-out, each pick-up and drop-off), enter each reading from the driver manifest in the Run Itinerary view of Schedule Editor into the Odometer field. Make sure that you are entering the correct odometer reading in the correct row.

Trapeze strongly recommends setting the Auto Update Odometer property (under File > Properties, on the Tools tab, under Schedule Editor) to Yes. When you manually enter an odometer reading for one event, the system auto updates those next events that have the same latitude and longitude with your entry. This feature is particularly useful when you have groups traveling to or from the same locations.

If set to No, you must enter the odometer reading for each event manually. If your site tracks both the service miles and the revenue miles on each run, type the figures in all four fields in the Odometer Readings dialog box at once. You do not need to open it twice to enter each separately.
