Editing a Scheduled Job

When a scheduled job needs to be updated, it can be edited.

Before you begin

Schedule Job Agent must be open.

Procedure

  1. Select a job from the grid.
    The settings of the job record are shown in the lower section of the dialog box.
  2. Click Edit.
    The fields in the Job Schedule frame become active.
  3. Update the fields as required.
  4. Click Job Data.
    The Job Data dialog box appears.
  5. Select the job step to be edited.
    All steps in a job must operate on the same schedule.
  6. Click Edit.
    A dialog box appears.
  7. Edit the job details as needed.
  8. Click Apply.
  9. Click OK.
    The dialog box closes.
  10. In the Job Data dialog box, click OK.
  11. In the Schedule Job Agent dialog box, click Save.
