Creating Job Schedules

Batch jobs can be created for different purposes.

About this task

For example, a batch job could be created to reschedule trips when a vehicle breaks down or a driver is ill, or the next day’s trips could be rescheduled to create optimal schedules.

Procedure

  1. Click Tools > Schedule Job Agent.
    The Schedule Job Agent dialog box appears.

  2. Click New.
  3. In the Job Schedule frame, fill in the fields as necessary.
  4. Click Job Data and set the job data parameters.
  5. Click Save.
    The job is saved and is visible in the top section of the dialog box.
  6. Optional: To run the job immediately, click Run Now.
    Run Now is useful for testing purposes.
