Searching for Employee Records
Searching for an employee by scrolling down the list can be time consuming if you have a large list.
Before you begin
About this task
Procedure
- Click the Select tab.

Define any of the following filters:
- By Name
- Shows all employee surnames beginning with the letter(s) you type in the name
field.
To use this field to search by employee ID number, use /.
For example, use /321 to search for the employee assigned ID number 321.
- All
- Shows all employees registered in the database in alphabetical order.
To use this field to search by employee code, use +.
For example, use +ABC to search for the employee assigned employee code ABC.
- Search Result
- Opens the Find Employees dialog box.
- New Items
- Shows all new files created during the current session.
- Show Active Only
- Shows all employees except for those who have been designated as inactive.
- Click Display.
