Viewing Direct Travel Time

Direct Travel Time is the amount of time the system expects the trip to take from Origin to Destination, based on the defined calculation method.

Before you begin

A calculation method must be defined by a system administrator in Tools > System Properties, on the Profile tab, under Faring > Direct Distance Calc. method.

The Direct Travel Time field must be added to the Booking supplementary data screen by a system administrator in Tools > Supp. Data Definition.

Procedure

  1. Click Task > Trip Booking.
  2. Create and save a booking.
    The Origin and Destination locations must be defined.
    The calculation is not performed until the booking is saved.
  3. Click the Supplementary Data tab.
  4. In the Supplementary Data frame, check the value in the Direct Travel Time field.

Results

The Direct Travel Time value is shown in seconds.
